The Front Lines Tutoring Campus Ambassador Internship will assist in FLT’s mission to provide access to free tutoring services to children of front lines healthcare workers and disadvantaged populations. These campus ambassadors will represent FLT at their university and fulfill a variety of tasks to assist in increasing community engagement and the recruitment of new tutors. Interns will be a part of a growing non-profit organization which connects tutors from across the nation in their mission to provide accessible virtual education to students in these unprecedented times. 

Commitment: minimum 4 hrs/week, minimum 4-6 months, available for bi-monthly zoom meetings

Campus Ambassadors responsibilities could include:
  • Actively recruiting tutors and circulating recruitment information on their respective campuses as provided by the Director of Tutor Recruitment
  • Help conduct interviews for applicants from their campuses and assist in the tutor vetting process
  • Research and create content to help their communities adapt to the challenges of remote/hybrid learning
  • Disseminate social media content (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, etc.) to increase awareness of FLT in their communities
  • Network with campus ambassadors from other universities to implement efficient marketing strategies

Requirements:
  • Enrolled in an Undergraduate/Graduate Program at a university/college in the United States
  • No Specific Major Required 
  • Strong communication and networking skills 
  • Ability to work in a team setting
  • Interest in promoting access to education in the United States 
  • Organized and Independent

Campus Ambassador INTERNSHIP Program Application

​Apply to be A Tutor Coordinator
We are looking for dedicated and passionate students to be a part of Front Lines Tutoring's Tutor Coordination Team! You must have a high level of initiative, be a team player, be detail-oriented, have excellent written communication skills, and be able to commit at least 4 hours a week to this position. As a part of our team, you will match accepted FLT Tutors with the children of healthcare workers fighting COVID-19 according to schedule and subject availability.

This position is very flexible, and its tasks and assignments can be completed on your own schedule.
Tutor Coordinator Application
​Apply to be the Director of the Campus Ambassador Program:
The Director of FLT's Campus Ambassador Program will manage a team of ambassadors from universities/colleges around the U.S.

The Director will be responsible for:
- Creating tasks for the ambassadors that will increase community engagement
- Assisting Ambassadors in campus outreach and recruitment of new tutors from their area
-Leading Ambassadors in hospital outreach in their respective areas
-Managing Ambassadors as they conduct fundraising for FLT in their respective areas
- Monitoring the progress and task completion of the Ambassadors
- Leading virtual bi-monthly CAP meetings

We ask that the Director of the Campus Ambassador Program can commit to 5 hours per week.

Director of Campus Ambassador Program Application
​APPLY TO BE A TUTOR recruitment COORDINATOR:
We are looking for passionate and enthusiastic students to be on Front Lines Tutoring's Tutor Recruitment team! In this role, you will be the first face potential tutors will meet when looking to join FLT's team. In this position, you will have approximately 15 minutes to fulfill two roles: (1) represent FLT in an enthusiastic and professional manner and (2) screen potential tutors in their ability to represent FLT and provide the outstanding tutoring services we provide at FLT. All of this happens within 15 minutes, so it's important we have very capable coordinators to fulfill these duties! Additionally, you will aid in the administrative duties that go along with moving potential tutors through the application and onboarding process.

As a Tutor Recruitment Coordinator, you will be working closely with the rest of the Tutor Recruitment team in performing interviews and administrative duties that pertain to the tutor application and onboarding process. In addition to these tasks, you will attend weekly meetings/brainstorming sessions with the rest of the Tutor Recruitment team to maintain the innovative culture within the team that allows us to always improve our current protocols!

While there is no specific outline for a Tutor Recruitment Coordinator, we do ask our coordinators to be very enthusiastic, have excellent conversational skills, and have a high level of initiative. To maintain a regular level of production each week, we ask each coordinator to be available for a minimum of 5 hours each week to carry out your duties. While we ask about prior interviewing experience, we do not require this, so all students are encouraged to apply regardless of background!
Tutor Recruitment Coordinator Application
​APPLY TO BE A RISK MANAGEMENT COORDINATOR:
We are looking for dedicated and passionate students to be a part of Frontlines Tutoring's Risk Management Team! You must have a high level of initiative, be a team player, be detail-oriented, have excellent written communication skills, and be able to commit 3-5 hours a week to this position. As a part of our team, you will make phone calls to healthcare workers fighting COVID-19 to see if they qualify for tutoring session fee waivers. Additionally, you will be monitoring parent, student, and tutor complaints; monitoring tutor compliance with various required trainings; and ensuring background checks and annual sexual harassment trainings are up-to-date. This position is very flexible, and its tasks and assignments can be completed on your own schedule.
Risk Management Coordinator Application
APPLY TO BE A COMMUNITY OUTREACH INITIATIVE COORDINATOR:
We are looking for proactive, committed, and excited Coordinators to work with in developing free, virtual tutoring programs for underserved youth. Individuals who have tutored in the past and have experience working with BIPOC, English learner, first-generation, and/or multi-system involved youth are highly encouraged to apply.

Intern Expectations:
1. Commitment of at least 5 hours per week for 10 months.
2. Active communicator, organized.
3. Attendance and participation at initiative meetings and FLT exec meetings.
4. Passion to serve thoughtfully and build intentionally.

Community Outreach Initiative Coordinator Application
​APPLY TO BE A PARENT RELATIONS COORDINATOR:
In this role, you will assist in being the primary contact between parents and FLT. This committee is responsible for three main aspects of the client experience: on-boarding; survey and quality check-in; risk resolution.

Coordinators establish child and parent tutor software account formation and maintenance, family onboarding and completed matching of a family. Further, parent relation coordinators will be required to perform Parent Follow-Ups (through review of survey responses and/or phone calls) to ensure continued client satisfaction and for issue resolution. You would also have some administrative work that goes hand in hand with the department role. As a Coordinator, you will be working closely with the rest of the Parent Relations team, as well as the Quality and Risk Management teams. 

Parent Relation coordinators will also have to participate in weekly meetings/brainstorming sessions with the rest of the team to maintain the innovative culture within the team that allows us to always improve our current protocols!

We are looking for a parent relations coordinator who has a high level of initiative, possesses soft skills, is quick to learn, time-conscious, and who would present FLT in an enthusiastic and professional manner. 

To maintain a regular level of production each week, we ask each coordinator to be available for a minimum of 4 hours each week to carry out your duties. All students are encouraged to apply regardless of background!
